Don't take it personally: the art of dealing..

The book very thought provoking, and helpful in exploring issues in a person's childhood and upbringing that may play into their feelings about rejection and criticism. I don't feel that the book truly lived up to its title, to help the reader "transform rejection into self-acceptance," but it was helpful in helping my turn off my own flawed narrative about what the relationship ending meant about me, and look at things from a more neutral perspective, as well as from the perspective of the flawed, emotionally stunted person I had been in a relationship with.
