The Damascus document reconsidered

BROSHI, Magen - Personal Name;

It was in Egypt, in the Cairo Genizah, that the first book of the Dead Sea scrolls literature was discovered. The two exemplars of the Damascus Document found in this fabulous repository of medieval manuscripts, were published by Solomon Schechter in 1910, some forty year before the discovery of the Qumran scrolls.
