Contours of faith: changing forms of Christian thought
If today's theology is to be faitful to its task and meaningful to the majority of human beings, it cannot simply be practiced as in the past. Traditional forms and modes of expression may have to be abandoned because they have lost their original meaning. Intentions behind old form must be recaptured and their contributions appropriated in means more congenial to modern discourse.
