Training Christians to Counsel is one of the first series of its kind. Hopefully other counselors and ministers will also recognize the need for training the layman ( or the paraprofessional as he is called in the secular field) and develop further and more extenzice materials. The first portion of this manual was designed to be used in 2-1/2 hour sessions for the purpose of equipping laymen to counsel and help others. Those who complete to counsel and help others in their neighborhood, at the church, in community or church crisis centers,or wherever the Lord opens doors for them to serve Him in this capacity.
