The truth of the Bible
In this book , the author approaches this question originally-working from a biblical concept of truth to what this implies about God's self-revelation and its ongoing creativity.
He contends that inerrancy as understood and formulated by Augustine and locked into place by medieval scholasticism is a concept foreign to Scripture itself, and therefore an increasingly untenable base on which to broaden our understanding of God's intervention in history and its recording in the Bible.
