Raymond Bailey is an insightful teacher of preaching. As his former student, I have had the pleasure and privilege of both first hand knowledge of his skills as well as his writings. Jesus the Preacher is written with the preacher/pastor in mind but I found the book useful in a FORMATIONS classroom to help Christians learn to "preach" an appropriate witness. The words witnessing and preaching have taken on some negative connotations in our post-modern society..
