The hard sayings of Jesus

This is a good tool to have on hand when reading Scripture. It's nice to look up these sayings and get them fleshed out more according to the era and language used. Sometimes we read Mathew 11:28-30, "I am gentle and lowly in heart" and we forget the there are "harsh sayings". Good to have them all in one place to compare and contrast my understanding with scholars, Not the easiest book to read but filled with thought provoking explanations. Reading this book is insightful but requires much consideration surrounding the authors approach. Anyone can gain valuable insight, especially Christians.
