In its confrotation with contemporary philosophical and theological problems, a Christian's faith can no longer be merely personally satisfying. It mus be more deeply understood and more effectively proclaimed than at any time in previous age if it is to confront the growing philosophical, social and religious pluralism around us, and the increasing secularization of our world.
