Concilium theology in the age of renewal, v.22: adult baptism and the catechumenate
For too long a time, pastor and liturgist have admitted the shortcomings of baptismal rite for adults in the Roman Ritual. That this rite should be carefully rethought and given more flexibility was essential for the longed-for resacralization of the catechumenate.
