John Wesley's theology today: a study the Wesleyan tradition...
olin Williams was one of my theology professors at Garrett Evangelical on the campus of Northwestern University. This is an outstanding book on the theology of John Wesley.
Williams covers the Order of Salvation which is the key and heart of Wesley's theology. He shows how it all goes together as well as covering the individual parts. It is a masterful job of pulling together Wesley's theology because as we all know Wesley was not a systematic theologian, writing book after book on his theology.
Wesley's theology is in sermons, tracts, Notes on the Bible, Journals and Letters and you have to read all of it in order to find out what Wesley is saying. He spent more time and material on those areas in which he had problems or differences of opinion that arose to the point that he felt he had to respond to.
